She was committed to Lay Ministry for the Parish of All Saints by the Sea and enjoyed her Church work right up to the end of her life, holding various position in the Church, with the Anglican Church Women, the Altar Guild and for decades she was All Saints Church - Canso Vestry Clerk.
She enjoyed doing crafts, knitting and making baby quilts for the numerous extended family and friends. All generations have been on the receiving end of these loving gifts that they will now cherish for years to come.
Anyone who knew Sheila, knew that she was a kind, loving and caring woman, who saw the good in everyone. She supported community events, groups and often could be seen opening her heart and wallet to support every fund-raiser she was aware of.
