We would like to give a special thank you to the Hart family who were always there for Helen.
Helen moved to Boylston at the age of 16 and began working for MacMaster’s as a housekeeper and later as a Store Clerk. She met and married Harold Cresine, and they had 4 children. After her husband’s death (1963) she again began working as a Store Clerk.
No one ever left Helen’s home without a tea and some of her special treats. She was an avid baker, there was nothing she enjoyed more than seeing people delight in her cooking. Helen loved to knit, embroider, crochet, and sew. She enjoyed making care bears and knitting socks and mittens for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We would like to thank Doctor Bell, Doctor Ranjini and the staff of the Guysborough Memorial Hospital for their care of mom in her final days. We would also like to thank the staff of the Milford Haven Home for Special Care where she was a resident for the last 7 months.
